CYBER PACIFIC PROJECT
AT THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT AUSTIN
Mapping the Legal and Policy Terrain of Indo-Pacific Cyber Operations
Our research team analyzes the legal and policy environment surrounding U.S. cyber operations in the Indo-Pacific region. Three questions guide our efforts:
How does the law constrain and enable U.S. cyber operations in the Indo-Pacific?
How can leaders shape policy to give the U.S. greater decision-making freedom and a higher likelihood of achieving its strategic objectives in the region?
How can the U.S. act within existing legal and policy frameworks to fortify the cybersecurity of its Indo-Pacific allies?
This student-driven project is run out of the University of Texas at Austin with the generous support of the Army Cyber Institute at West Point.
Our team is draw from across graduate and undergraduate programs at the University of Texas at Austin, an R1 public research university.
