Joe Eduard Rucker is a first-year graduate student at the LBJ School of Public Affairs originally from Dallas, Texas. He earned his BA in Government and Anthropology from the University of Texas at Austin. Before attending LBJ, he was a visiting scholar at the European New School of Digital Studies researching artificial intelligence policy in higher education and a researcher at the iSchool Inclusion Institute Scholar focusing on toxicity in video games. Joe is interested in the intersection of information and technology policy, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and governance structures. In his free time, Joe loves playing video games and going down a YouTube rabbit hole.
