Thomas McAuley
Thomas is a fourth-year student pursuing a J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law and Master of Public Affairs from the LBJ School of Public Affairs. After graduating from Georgetown University, he served for four-years as a U.S. Army tank officer. His final assignment was to the Army command responsible for testing all new weapons and equipment, a post that motivated him to return to school and study how technology affects security policy. He has since interned at the DOJ National Security Division and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Texas. He is a member of the Texas Law Chancellors, a graduate of U.S. Army Ranger School, and an Eagle Scout.
